Small class with a maximum of 4 students
This advanced art class is designed for young artists who have foundational art experience and want to deepen their skills. Through guided projects and individualized feedback, students will explore advanced techniques in drawing, painting, and digital art. They will also learn to develop their unique style and approach to creative expression.
The goal of this advanced class is to guide students toward creating complex, thoughtful works of art that reflect their growing skills and individual expression. By the end, students should feel prepared to explore further opportunities in art, whether as a hobby or as part of a more formal study.
What Will Be Taught
Advanced Drawing and Painting Techniques
Mastery of shading, perspective, proportion, and color theory for realism and abstraction.
Mixed Media and Digital Art
Experimenting with digital tools alongside traditional media, such as charcoal, pastels, watercolors, and acrylics.
Concept Development and Composition
Creating meaningful pieces with attention to focal points, balance, movement, and contrast.
Art Critique and Analysis
Learning to analyze and critique artworks constructively, including peer and self-critique sessions.
