Intermediate Classes

This art class is designed to introduce children to the world of creativity through a variety of fun and engaging projects. It covers foundational art skills while encouraging self-expression and exploration across different mediums, including drawing, painting, and sculpture. Children will experiment with colors, shapes, textures, and materials, helping them build both their artistic abilities and confidence.
What Will Be Taught
Basics of Art Techniques:
Introduction to lines, shapes, forms, value, hatching, shading, color mixing, brush strokes, and different types of textures.
Exploring Mediums: Using crayons, markers, watercolors, acrylics, and clay, children will get hands-on experience with a wide range of materials.
Elements of Composition: Learning about balance, contrast, and proportion in artwork.
Art History Exposure: Brief, age-appropriate introductions to famous artists and their styles to inspire creativity and cultural awareness.
